Well established Mid North Coast Bakery

Description

This well-established business has been trading for almost 28 years with the current owners having been there for 26 years. The business currently trades 6 days a week baking a range of bread, cakes and slices, pies and sausage rolls.

Located just a short drive from the towns CBD the bakery can be found in a small traditional style shopping plaza which has good visibility from the road and plenty of
off street parking.

The shop is surrounded by both residential and commercial neighbours creating great passing trade. There is also a local primary school, BP service station, tennis courts and park close by.

The business benefits from the strong customer support of local residents, tradies, business workers and occasional tourist trade, plus regular wholesale customers.

The retail area of the shop is fresh and clean with white tiles throughout and has a small alcove area for customer seating. At the rear of the building there is a spacious production area with multiple workbenches which streamlines the day-to-day production. All equipment is owned by the business except for one drink fridge which is free to loan from the local soft drink company and all pieces of bakery equipment are in great working order and well maintained.

After 26 years of running this highly successful and well-loved business the current owners are, understandably ready to hang up their aprons and spend more time with their family, Therefore the bakery is priced to sell and is a great opportunity to take on a profitable business from day one which also has plenty of room for future growth.

Hospitality Consultant, Certified Exit Planning Advisor, Licensed Business Broker in NSW, SA, QLD, VIC @ GSE Hospitality Brokers

I grew up in the food business, my parents owned two very successful restaurants. I have fond memories of working alongside them from a very early age.

All through my school years I knew that I wanted to be a part of the hospitality industry and the day that I started at college could not come quickly enough. I spent three enjoyable years learning my trade and left college to join my parents in their second restaurant.

In 1992 my parents decided that the time was right for them to sell up and I felt it was also the right time for me to go out on my own.

In 1993 I opened my first Cafe called “Hogarth’s” and that is where it all began. Over the following 25 years, I built and sold nine food businesses. I loved every minute (well most of it) and learnt a lot about how the sale process works, I also learned some very valuable lessons.

I love the food industry and wanted to crack double digits and open shop number ten, unfortunately, the two things that I value the most in my life, my marriage and my health probably would not have lasted if I had done that so I called it a day

I always felt that there was a better way to sell cafes and food businesses and that is where the idea for GSE came from. My vision was to build a specialist firm of hospitality brokers that could make the sales process as straightforward as possible for the owners of hospitality businesses in Australia.

I am now using the experience I gained selling my own businesses as well as selling a lot of other people’s businesses to lead the team of very talented brokers at GSE.

I would love the opportunity to show you more about how the approach that GSE take can help you to sell your business for the price that you want and on your terms.

If you are looking for a specialist Hospitality Broker who has walked the walk and fully understands the industry and all of the nuances of the sales process then I would love to hear from you.
