Hawkesbury Area Restaurant – 4 day lunch/dinner, Licensed, Run under Management

Description

This well-known Richmond Restaurant/Bar is a unique dining and bar destination across all the Hawkesbury region. Established for over 7 years and enduring the effects of fires, floods in the area as well as the pandemic, this business has the solid foundations to be able to withstand any adversities. Sales, although impacted by the events, have shown to have returned to the levels of normal operations when possible. This confirms its loyal and frequent customer base.

This business is well equipped, has easy off-street parking and is located perfectly in Richmond. This business is well known in the area and is run under management (the owner spends minimal time there) so it is perfectly set up for a continued and successful operation. An inviting courtyard adds to the enormous appeal of this establishment.

Fully licensed with a unique, inviting and popular offering. Operating the weekends only for lunch and Wednesday to Sunday for dinner. FY20/21 weekly sales are $11.9k per week (Jul 20-Apr 21) with a high value average transaction amount (over $85). A very low rent of approximately $953 per week.

The Restaurant/Bar has a full commercial kitchen with a coolroom, several storage areas, grease trap and exhaust system. The indoor dining area has approximately 50 seats, with a further 40 seats on a separate floor and a courtyard that can accommodate 120 people.

The lunch and dinner menu is the same. It is ideal for families but also for group get-togethers and casual dinner or lunch outings and is in line with its branded identity. Fully licensed with a good selection of wines, spirits and beers and cocktails make it also a great meeting place.

A very attractive business with a loyal following. With a good turnover, low rent and run mainly under management, this business is sure to appeal to many.

This restaurant/bar operation is run wellly under management, but still has room to grow with extending the operating hours and the number of days or nights open. Extra focus on functions and catering is essential as the business is well equipped to dominate in this area. Utilising the plethora of delivery apps available can also increase the turnover and the branding of the establishment. Further profitability can be obtained from the reduction in wages and product purchases. For those that wish to open for breakfasts, the option is also available and has been done successfully previously.

Licensed Real Estate Agent and Business Broker in NSW @ GSE Hospitality Brokers

Take-aways, restaurants and later cafes and car wash cafes have been an integral part of my life since childhood. I learnt the trades of hand cut chips, filleting fish, making burgers, being a barista, being a waiter, being a cook and on top of all that, producing quality and providing excellent customer service. The initial stages were part of the family business, but later became a choice to support my studies or a change of direction in life.

I had various corporate jobs and landed in a regional role in a large coffee franchise. Here I supported franchisees to effectively (and efficiently) run their businesses from reducing cost of goods and wages, marketing their business both from behind the counter and through local area marketing, sampling activities and providing robust business plans. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail was the motto.Though the process, we were able to understand in detail the business and were subsequently able to make the right decisions for the future direction of the business – whether to continue and increase sales and profit, realise that the full potential of the business has been achieved or accept that the business trajectory is not where it needs to be and therefore create an exit plan.

After a while I decided that I could provide this service to a lot of businesses and industries and got my broker’s licence and started servicing NSW in consulting and selling. I co-authored a book titled ‘Show You the Money’, a business KPI handbook given to prospective and current business owners when engaging the consulting services to assist and guide them through their business decisions. Selling at the right price and time was proving to be the decision most business owners were asking for – and I was only too happy to help! After a few years, I was asked to be involved in a start-up and since then I have been involved in five start-ups, but the passion for hospitality remained.

I believe relationships are the cornerstone of any business and creating the open communication channels and informing the vendor and the buyer of the progress of their venture is paramount. Couple this with the vast experience that I bring, I am able to effectively communicate with both parties with authority and insightfulness. I look forward to sharing your business thoughts and plans and obtaining the best possible results for your business.
