Mid North Coast Bakery/Cafe – High Profits, Easy to Run

Description

This is a genuinely rare opportunity to purchase a highly profitable, bakery/cafe based on the Mid-North coast of NSW.

With its idyllic climate, beautiful beaches, laidback vibe this area has become a favoured destination luring holidaymakers for longer stays in addition to its own thriving population.

Located in a bustling and vibrant town, the bakery has no shortage of year-round passing trade.

Currently operating six days a week from 7am until 1.30pm (closed on Sundays). The core business is generated from the retail shop which sells a wide variety of cakes, pastries and bread.

The business also has an established and consistent wholesale revenue line which has grown considerably over the last three years. A new owner could continue to expand this side of the business as there is strong local demand for the products and limited competition.

The opportunity also exists to open a second retail shop as the production space could be further utilised.

Run by the two owners and an established team, the financial records show consistent sales growth of 25% year on year as well as strong margins. The staff roster is well structured and efficient with production hours for the bakers operating between 4pm to 12 midnight.

The business has achieved a level that many would be envious of and would make a highly desirable acquisition to any purchaser willing to look at a regional location.

Opportunities as good as this this don’t come along that often and if you are in the market for something special then this opportunity would be worth relocating for.

Hospitality Consultant, Certified Exit Planning Advisor, Licensed Business Broker in NSW, SA, QLD, VIC @ GSE Hospitality Brokers

I grew up in the food business, my parents owned two very successful restaurants. I have fond memories of working alongside them from a very early age.

All through my school years I knew that I wanted to be a part of the hospitality industry and the day that I started at college could not come quickly enough. I spent three enjoyable years learning my trade and left college to join my parents in their second restaurant.

In 1992 my parents decided that the time was right for them to sell up and I felt it was also the right time for me to go out on my own.

In 1993 I opened my first Cafe called “Hogarth’s” and that is where it all began. Over the following 25 years, I built and sold nine food businesses. I loved every minute (well most of it) and learnt a lot about how the sale process works, I also learned some very valuable lessons.

I love the food industry and wanted to crack double digits and open shop number ten, unfortunately, the two things that I value the most in my life, my marriage and my health probably would not have lasted if I had done that so I called it a day

I always felt that there was a better way to sell cafes and food businesses and that is where the idea for GSE came from. My vision was to build a specialist firm of hospitality brokers that could make the sales process as straightforward as possible for the owners of hospitality businesses in Australia.

I am now using the experience I gained selling my own businesses as well as selling a lot of other people’s businesses to lead the team of very talented brokers at GSE.

I would love the opportunity to show you more about how the approach that GSE take can help you to sell your business for the price that you want and on your terms.

If you are looking for a specialist Hospitality Broker who has walked the walk and fully understands the industry and all of the nuances of the sales process then I would love to hear from you.
